The handmade basket “Nest,” crafted from the roots of the “vetiver” plant that grows in Madagascar, exudes a pleasant aroma and embodies a perfectly organic aesthetic. A part of the plant’s root is separated, cleaned of grass, meticulously washed, sun-dried, and woven in a way that creates this unique piece of art resembling a bird’s nest, from which it takes its name.​ The “Nest” bowl can be used as a table decoration or as a wall ornament, either on its own or in a composition with other sizes.
